NOTE: Because most private therapists charge in excess of £60.00 per meeting, we may ask for proof of income if you are self-declaring your income below £29,000 a year.

Online application lets you into Lacap's work diary. The therapists' diaries for the next two months are displayed - and this shows you availabilities for consultations, both for the initial and ongoing meetings. You are asked to provide us with the basic contact details & to let us know whether you are looking for assistance to help pay for the costs of the treatment. We will indicate on-screen the likely fees that are appropriate for your circumstances.

Lacap has a fee system based on your income (a sliding scale) that is £20.00 plus 1/1000th of Annual Gross Income.

The fee is: the fee element that the therapist receives + administrative costs + what is made-over to supporting our low-fee work.

Applicants earning over £20,000 per year contribute a part of the fee charged to support those with lower incomes. For instance a fee of £40.00 will enable a contribution of £9.20 to the low fee funds (=23%).

Those earning between £10K & £19K will have a small part of the fee that the therapist is paid contributed from Lacap's funds, and those who are unwaged or earning less than £10K per year will have the larger part of the fee made-over from those funds.
